we are laying new pipes beneath the surface so we can drain them completely to regularly clean them out. Terram is being laid on the base and sides to stop the clay coming up and then more stone is being laid in compacted layers which will also create a larger pool. An overflow system is also being installed so we can regulate the depth of the water and keep it as constant as possible. As both these jumps have running water it has taken us a while to work out the best system to put in place!

The right hand water (with the boats) (see picture below) is now complete, and the left hand water is being worked on currently.

Meanwhile our third and original water (nearest the house) has no problems and is in constant use.
