Chris
Hall grew up near Okehampton in Devon where he began riding at the age
of six. His father bought ponies and horses for Chris and his brothers
to produce and sell.
Chris progressed through the Pony Club gaining places in the teams, and
later became a working pupil for Event rider Leslie Law. After this he
moved to a show jumping yard in Surrey where he competed at county and
national level.
Chris
came to the Cotswolds area 15 years ago working as a rider mostly in the
discipline of eventing. He spent a year as head lad for the Olympic Gold
medallist Mark Todd which was a great grounding for starting his own yard
with wife Teresa in 1997.
Chris competes regularly for a number of owners and currently has a promising
string of horses. He has achieved good results from pre-novice up to advanced
level eventing. He also enjoys competitive show jumping and hunting.
