The arena SJ course has been set up to practise various related distances for training purposes for the next 2 weeks. You can also put together your own course ignoring the numbers. The XC course, including the Loop, is unlikely to be open before the end of April 2024

Facilities on offer include:

  • All-weather arena with permanent Show Jump course
  • XC with over 250 fences for all levels from 2' upwards
  • Woodchip XC Loop
  • Plentiful parking and a wash down bay
  • Shepherd's Hut for self-serve hot drinks and chilled water

Making a Group Booking

Sign up for a group organiser booking account and we'll give you access to our special group booking interface. Prices are the same but this allows you to provisionally book the facilities you need and amend as late as the day before - without the need to prepay. Group bookings are generally several groups running throughout the day with one or two instructors, it does not apply to a one off small group of friends riding together.

Picnic beside the course

Why not make your day extra special without any hassle? Order a picnic online from Blakes Kitchen advance orders or Blakes Kitchen same day takeaway (Clanfield) or Gail's Bakery in Oxford. Fresh everyday with plenty of choice and simply delicious, it will make the day even more memorable. If you are pushed for time, it could even be delivered by Oxford Couriers for about £35.

Organising A Camp?

We partner with the Unicorn Trust in Stow-on-the-Wold for anyone wishing to organise an overnight camp. This is a wonderful venue with immaculate stables as well as luxurious indoor and outdoor schools. It provides the perfect base, and they have plenty of added extras such as lecture rooms, showers and electric hookups - even onsite B&B and delicious home-cooked food if needed.

From Unicorn, it's only a 15 minute drive to Lyneham Heath for a day of Cross Country. Make the most of your visit with a picnic lunch (provided by Unicorn Trust) and perhaps include an educational talk with our top equine physiotherapist, Laura Browne.

Call or email the Unicorn Trust to discuss and book on 01451 832 317 or info@unicornequestriantrust.org.uk
