Covid update 4/1/2021
We are now closed after the pm announced another lockdown earlier this evening
When we re-open:
Be sure to book before you come in the usual. Keep to Gov't guidelines. Park well apart. Dogs are welcome but kept on leads at all times. The Washdown is closed. Keep the loo for emergencies only and use the hand sanitiser on the shelf by the entrance.
To book lessons with Owen Moore please email Laura Browne on l.browne@hotmail.co.uk
Please note these restrictions:
- Please adhere to your start times
- Park well apart and use the overflow car park to keep your distance.
- People to keep 2m apart wherever possible
- The Washdown is closed - please bring water for horses to drink & wash off, sponges, buckets, poop a scoop. Take muck home.
- The Loo is open for anyone DESPERATE, but we advise you try to avoid using. There is disinfectant spray to use before and after, on anything you touch! As the entrance is narrow, stand well back to ensure you don’t pass too closely and use hand sanitiser on the outside shelf.
- The government is advising we limit contact with other people. Please follow government guidelines.
- Bring your own poop-a-scoop to clear up after your horse in the lorry park.
- Please be sensible about the height and type of fence you are attempting and try to avoid bringing overly fresh horses or ponies to minimise the risk of an accident. It’s recommended all riders beneath BE Novice standard come with a qualified instructor or VERY competent equestrian supervisor.
- All adult riders to be accompanied by a responsible person
- Children are very welcome to ride but must be accompanied by a qualified instructor or VERY competent equestrian supervisor.
- Back protectors to be worn
Please note from May 2020 refunds for cancellations will be replaced with a credit in your account which can be used against any facility for up to 6 months
